Cosmo Maxi Skirt
Cosmo Maxi Skirt
The Cosmo Maxi Skirt takes your favorite yoga pants and turns them into a skirt. It's easy to wear on your errands with flip flops, but pair it with a dressy top and some fancy sandals for an elegant look.
The Cosmo Skirt silhouette is engineered to be fitted around the hips, taper higher, for your petite frame, and then spills out for a flared hem that is not too overwhelming.
The Cosmo Skirt is great for petites of all heights. If you need it shorter, roll the waistband. If you need it longer, extend the waistband so the seam falls at the hips.
This pattern is designed knit fabrics only. Please consider using a fabric that has at least 35% stretch and testing the fit in a substitute knit before sewing up in the final fabric.

Sizing Information
SBCC Patterns are designed for petites of all proportions and sizes from XXS- 4X. Generally petite is considered 5 ft 4" (1.63M) and under, but it not just about making clothes for short people. SBCC is dedicated to fitting petites that may have an average height torso or average height leg proportions that factor into their fitting woes.
Stop altering and start making!
Average height customers are welcome too. All SBCC patterns include markings for adding or reducing length and generally a simple addition to body length or rise are all that is required.
5'1" (1.55M) is the base height for all SBCC patterns.
For size ranges XXS-XL, the bust fit is designed for a B/C cup
For size ranges L-4X, the bust fit is designed for a D/E cup
Selecting your correct size is very important. Take time to review the sizing chart below to determine where you fit into SBCC Patterns.
Grab a tape measure…..
Chest: Take your tape measure and wrap it around the fullest part of your chest, making sure that it does not dip down in the back.
Waist: Wrap the measuring tape around the narrowest part of you waist- usually this is at your belly button.
Hips: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and backside. Make sure that the tape does not dip down in the back for accurate measurements.
